I am a psychologist, researcher, learning and performance professional, and project leader with a multidisciplinary background spanning psychology, technology, higher education, and corporate leadership.
My work focuses on helping individuals and organizations learn, adapt, and perform more effectively. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to the intersection of human behavior, learning, performance improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
I earned a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Cognition and Instruction, where my research explored the relationships among mental imagery, attention, emotion, and mind wandering. I currently serve as a Handling Editor and reviewer for Frontiers in Psychology (Educational Psychology), contributing to the advancement of research in learning, cognition, and educational practice.
Prior to academia, I spent several years in the energy utility sector leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, executive communication, workforce training, and project management. These experiences strengthened my ability to translate complex information into practical solutions while collaborating across diverse teams and organizational environments.
In addition to my corporate and scholarly work, I have supported doctoral candidates, researchers, and professionals through complex, long-term projects involving learning, performance improvement, accountability systems, and goal achievement.
My professional interests include learning and development, organizational effectiveness, change management, workforce development, educational psychology, research methods, and the application of emerging technologies to learning and performance.
I believe that meaningful growth - whether in individuals, teams, or organizations - begins with understanding how people learn, think, adapt, and succeed.
